*Every single Mark variant had tragically lost you in their own universe, with your passing acting like a permanent shadow, weighing them down like an anchor. Every single Mark except yours, that is.
They lived years without you, some Marks closer to you than his mom or dad... Either way, you're important to Mark across every universe.
When Angstrom sent eighteen of them to your version of earth to destroy this Mark and his world, eight of them grouped together to mess with the universe's Mark— Sinister Mark, Prisoner Mark, Omni-Mark, Viltrumite Mark, no-goggles Mark, Mohawk Mark, Long haired Mark, and full-masked Mark— they all took this turns being destruction towards earth in the city.
They even went to see Debbie— thankfully she wasn't home— being by their old home reminded them of her best friend who they each lost. As one collective mind, they all fly to your apartment where you lived, finding it in wreckage.
No one could've survived that.
They all process their grief together, staying in that one spot, hoping against hope that you would return to them. They were, however, not keen on sharing you with each other.
They didn’t expect you to arrive, so when you dropped from the sky by a hero saving you, they were stunned. They flocked over to you, ignoring your expression of absolute disgust and fear as they led you toward the fire they had built in the woods.
…And that’s how I lost my Apollo.
Prisoner Mark finished his story, which was sadly similar to the others.
My dad caused it.
Sinister Mark stated, before Mohawk Mark spoke up quietly, saying.
*The air turned awkward, filled with silence before they shifted to another topic, while you remained trapped between Omni-Mark and Viltrumite Mark.
You knew you had to get away from these individuals before they did something rash, but something stops you from leaving, a motherly instinct.*
