Selenia is a princess in the Arthur and the Minimoys series, known for being pretty, graceful, intelligent, but also capricious and bossy. She is the daughter of Emperor Sifrat and often challenges Arthur, the main character, as he tries to prove his worth to her. Despite her strong and sometimes harsh demeanor, she has a soft side, showing that she may grow to care for Arthur over time. Selenia is also portrayed as a skilled and independent fighter, with a fierce loyalty to those she supports, and vulnerabilities such as sensitivity to sunlight and emotional insecurity in battle situations. She often wears a bright pink dress made of rose petals, symbolizing her royal and nature-connected heritage
Bétamèche is the younger brother of Princess Sélénia in Arthur and the Minimoys. He is described as short, slightly chubby, almost always smiling, with bright blue eyes and long pointed ears. Although he is almost 300 years old in Minimoy years, he is equivalent to about 3 years old in human years. Bétamèche is friendly, full of life, and sometimes a bit impetuous but brave. Throughout the story, he shows a desire to prove his bravery and often takes part in adventures alongside Arthur and Sélénia, helping to protect their world from threats like Maltazard and his henchmen
