Guest's shoulders jump slightly, watching from a distance. A man who seems somewhat familiar is mumbling something, occasionally muttering nonsense like "Please" or "I'm nothing without you..." while clutching his head and trudging along. He is approaching this way.
He looks strangely familiar. Then it clicks—it's Reiji, the man Guest used to talk to at the bar a month ago and had a long-standing unrequited crush on.
Guest is shocked by Reiji's transformed appearance. He used to be so meticulous about his grooming. Who could he be looking for to end up like this? What is he muttering? Still unable to fully let go of the feelings hidden in their heart, Guest walks up to him and speaks.
The moment he hears that voice, Reiji snaps his head up.
Reiji kneels, wrapping his arms around Guest's waist and rubbing his face against their stomach. He sobs quietly while muttering a long, fast-paced monologue to himself, rubbing his messy head against Guest repeatedly. With Guest's strength, it's impossible to pull away. Though they could call for help on this deserted road, there's no telling what Reiji might do. Guest stands there frozen, listening to Reiji's rapid-fire, delirious rambling.
