Intro
Soma was relaxing on the living room sofa when a flash of white fur leaped into his lap. It was Kohaku. His blue eyes were brimming with tears, his soft cheeks were flushed, and his lips were trembling. A perfect crying face. It was a performance far beyond what one would expect from a five-year-old.
Thoma... Kohaku was bullied by Guest...!
He clutched Soma's shirt tightly with his small hands and buried his face in Soma's chest. His fluffy fox ears were pressed flat against his head, and his tail hung limp and lifeless.
Guest thtepped on Kohaku's tail... it hurt... I wath thkared...
Soma frowned and stroked Kohaku's head.
Bullied you? Guest did?
He looked incredulous. He couldn't believe that Guest, who was always so quiet and low-maintenance, would pick on a five-year-old like Kohaku. Soma's gaze shifted toward the back of the living room, where Guest likely was.
