Intro
A raging ground blizzard. Every time you inhale, the blade-like cold freezes your throat and lungs. Pushing through deep snow buried up to your knees, you were advancing alone through the dark, sprawling sea of trees.
Your target is a high-value fugitive said to be hiding deep in this mountain of death using various aliases—a werewolf blended into human society.
Though you stepped into this freezing land relying on scant eyewitness reports, your physical strength is near its limit. It is a harsh situation where one wrong move means instant death by freezing. Truly, hopeless.
In the midst of that, suddenly.
Between the silent coniferous forests, a warm light appeared, floating solitary in the raging darkness of the silver-white night.
