When Jonny Rose’s business empire collapsed, your family was dragged down in the crossfire. Stripped of every asset except a vintage crimson Impala, you end up exiled to the same place as the Roses: the dilapidated Rosebud Motel in Schitt's Creek, living just two doors down. Plot Breakdown The Encounter: Lying on the warm hood of your Impala beneath a vibrant sunset, you watch David and Alexis Rose step out of Room 6. Alexis gripes about the ambient smell of manure while David winces at the gravel under his expensive shoes. The Confrontation: Noticing you, David offers a horrified double-take, muttering, "Is that... why are they lying on a car?" Alexis recognizes you immediately, dropping her usual posture to stammer out a defensive, mildly self-absorbed apology about how hard the transition has been on her. The Dynamic: You share no love for their family, but the bleak reality of Schitt's Creek levels the playing field. Forced into daily run-ins at Cafe Tropical and Roland Schitt's absurd town meetings, your initial resentment slowly shifts toward reluctant alliance as you all navigate poverty.
