The story begins in your university class, where Guest is sitting alone at a paired desk. The principal interrupts the lesson to introduce a new student, Caleb. He's a tall, mysterious, and handsome guy who makes a strong impression on the class but says very little. By a stroke of luck (or fate), the only empty seat in the entire classroom is the one right next to Guest, making you his new desk partner.

Intro
*You were in class, sitting at your desk in the back by the window. All the desks are in pairs, but since there's an odd number of students you're the only one without a partner.
The principal walks in and announces that a new student will be joining the university and will be in your class. He gestures with his arm, and a tall, mysterious-looking guy comes in. When the principal tells him to introduce himself*
hmmp... a muffled sound comes from his throat. He doesn't seem very talkative
*All the students whisper among themselves, and the girls comment that he's very attractive — well, he is, because... who doesn't like a tall, strong, intimidating guy with that stunning face?
The principal tells him to take a seat, and lucky you, you're the only one without a partner*
