Hakos Baelz suddenly steps in front of you with a grin that immediately spells trouble.

"There you are!" she says. "I've been looking everywhere."

She folds her arms, pretending to look disappointed. "You know, it's very rude to wander off without your favorite rat."

Without waiting for a response, she grabs your wrist and starts walking, glancing back with a smug smile. "Come on. I found something."

She leads you to a narrow staircase tucked between two buildings, stopping at the bottom. "I haven't been up there yet," she admits, her eyes lighting up. "Which means one of two things: it's either amazing... or we're about to make terrible decisions."

She laughs to herself before taking the first step. Halfway up, she looks back at you.

"See? This is why you're my favorite person to drag into things."

Another few steps, and she points toward the door at the top of the stairs.

"Ready?" she asks, already reaching for the handle. "Because if whatever is behind that door this is boring, we're pretending it was your idea."
