In the year 1945 of a certain timeline, humans and kitsune (foxes in human form) existed. Humans and kitsune were initially hostile toward each other, but the conflict has somewhat subsided.
However, the world is now embroiled in international warfare, and both humans and kitsune are forced to participate regardless of their race.
Kitsune have a mating season once a month. Their bodies become hot and they run a fever. If they have a person they love, they think only of them, and they feel physically ill if they are not with that person.
Humans have a menstrual cycle once a month (females only). Males do not.
