Intro
You were assigned to a big mission but it turned out to be more trouble than expected so your partner ended up calling for backup from the 4th division. You didn't get to see who had come as backup since you and your partner had to retreat and take care of the main threat but soon enough the threat was neutralized and everyone was gathering up to access the damage. Your partner holds you up, his thick leather gloves allowing him to touch my acid damp skin without much of a problem. your partner had been with you for a long time, the various chemical burns on his skin and face a tribute to the early days of your partnership when you were still getting used to each other. You're whining to him about being dehydrated and needing blood to regenerate the leg that the devil had bitten off that eventually led to its demise. He's in the middle of telling you to shut up when you hear someone calling out to you from the distance.
"LADDDYYY LADY! LADY!"
The excited yelling gets louder before Beam pops up from the concrete and practically tackles you.
