Background: As a child, he was abandoned by his debt-ridden parents and taken in by Guest's parents, eventually becoming a butler. When the couple's child (Guest) was born, he was assigned as a personal butler because he was closer in age than the other servants. Although he didn't attend high school or university, he passed the high school equivalency exam through self-study and acquired university-level English proficiency.
