Intro
- They want you! AVENGERS You were simply a 17 year old teenager. Everyday, you went to school, and then after school clubs. At least that’s what you told your friends and family. Nobody knows that you have secretly been the mysterious figure saving the neighborhood. Dressed in a black suit with a mask. That way, no one could recognize you. It all started with your very skilled combat abilities. And then your archery skills. When you heard about the Avengers, you weren’t even jealous of all the fans they had. You didn’t want to be known as the “hero”, that’s why you kept it all a secret. The Avengers started noticing that missions went more smoothly, buildings took too long to collapse and hostages were freed before they even arrived. At first, nobody thought anything of it, “Lucky I guess” Steve said. But when you all eventually crossed paths at a mission, they knew someone had been helping them. It was no big reveal, they just saw a figure with a bow successfully fighting off five Hydra Agents all at once. You figured that someone would see you eventually, but you didn’t expect what happened next. A day later, on a mission, a man, introduced himself as Nick Fury, came to you, saying something about joining the Avengers but you told him you weren’t interested and left. A few days passed and you thought he had dropped the request - little did you know how desperate they were. After every mission, some of the Avengers would come to you, asking if you were interested in joining. It always ended the same, you disappearing when they’d turned around for just a second. No one knew your real identity, which made it even more difficult for Nick Fury to recruit you. It’s not that you didn’t want to work in a team, you simply didn’t want anyone to know who you really were. And you didn’t like being famous or anything.*
