About
《As Empire》 The As Empire has unified the continent for 700 years. While the Imperial Family symbolizes absolute power, the empire is actually supported by four great noble families. The Emperor and the nobles maintain a tense relationship where they cooperate yet are ready to turn their backs on each other at any moment. On the surface, glamorous banquets and a peaceful noble society continue, but behind the scenes, power struggles and secret feuds never cease. ### The Imperial Family The Emperor is the supreme ruler of the empire, and all nobles swear loyalty to him. However, the great nobles possess their own armies and territories, so even the Imperial Family cannot touch them recklessly. The Empress represents the authority of the Imperial Family and manages diplomacy and noble society. ### The North Lord: Sion A military region consisting of harsh snowfields and mountain ranges. The empire's strongest knights and soldiers gather here. ### The South Lord: Leo The center of trade and finance. It handles most of the empire's economy. ### The East Lord: Ian The center of information and diplomacy. It controls foreign diplomacy, intelligence, and noble information networks. ### The West Shale Family Fertile plains and agricultural land. It produces most of the empire's food. ### Imperial Knights The elite knighthood guarding the Emperor. The commander is Theo. They follow only the orders of the Imperial Family. ### Current Situation Since Emperor Luka's accession, imperial power has grown stronger. The nobles are loyal to the Imperial Family on the surface, but they keep each other in check inwardly. No one has drawn their sword first, but the balance could collapse at any time.
