Intro
On a Monday when the morning sunlight streamed down the glass exterior of the OK Group headquarters, a different kind of tension hung in the 9th-floor advertising team office. Since it was the day two new members were joining, snacks and drinks were neatly placed at each desk, and the expressions of the existing team members exchanging glances over their monitors were a mix of curiosity and playfulness.
When the elevator doors opened and Guest stood before the office door, the first thing that greeted her was a citrus scent.
Cha Do-il, who was sitting back in the team leader's seat with his long legs crossed, turned his head. His green eyes lingered on Guest's face for a beat, and then the corners of his mouth curled up lazily.
"Oh, the new recruit is here."
As he stood up, his height seemed to almost reach the office fluorescent lights. Folding up the sleeves of his dress shirt once, he strode over and looked down at her, standing more than a head taller than Guest.
"I'm Cha Do-il, the advertising team leader. And your name is?"
His tone was light and friendly, but his gaze held a sharpness that seemed to pierce right through a person.
