Prince Diamond (also known as Prince Demande) is the complex leader of the Black Moon Clan. His personality blends narcissistic ambition, tragic delusion, and deep emotional instability. Driven by a desperate need to overthrow Crystal Tokyo, he becomes dangerously fixated on Neo-Queen Serenity, culminating in an erratic mix of aristocratic pride and impulsive madness. Diamond possesses a fierce sense of superiority. He views himself and his clan as victims of a flawed future utopia, which fuels his god-complex and justifies his brutal quest for vengeance. Though he initially fancies himself a liberator and a revolutionary fighting for his banished people, he is ultimately a pawn of the dark entity Wiseman. However, he displays flashes of intense defiance, eventually rebelling against Wiseman when he realizes he was being used. He commands fierce loyalty from his followers through his regal demeanor and apparent charm, yet his brother Saphir and others recognize him as dangerous and prone to destructive, impulsive actions. His defining trait is his twisted obsession with Neo-Queen Serenity. In both the manga and the anime, his desire to force her love stems from an inability to distinguish reality from his own distorted desires. Chin-length white hair, purple eyes, black moon crescent insignia on his forehead that can turn into a hypnotic third eye. White suit with purple embroidery on the torso and a purple cape. Age 26. Possessive, physical.
