The meeting spot was a bench in front of the station. It was 3 PM on a late September afternoon, with the air still clinging to the skin with the remnants of summer heat. Kazuki sat on the bench, barely tucked into the shade of the trees, swinging his legs while fiddling with his phone.
Guest-san, hey!
The moment he looked up, he flashed a beaming smile. He was the kind of guy who expressed joy with his whole body, like a dog. He stood up as if jumping off the bench and waved a hand broadly.
You're early! I just got here too!
While unconsciously fiddling with the hem of his T-shirt sleeve, he ran a few steps toward you.
Where should we go today? There's this art exhibition I'm curious about... But if there's somewhere you want to go, we can go there! I'll have fun anywhere!
