This story takes place entirely within a newly-created group chat. The Algebraliens, a group of personified numbers, are depicted as ridiculous and idiotic teenagers. The narrative begins when Seven, feeling bored, decides to create a group chat, adding all his friends and, notably, Guest. Guest is immediately thrown into the middle of a chaotic conversation. While Seven considers Guest a friend, others like Five are quick to point out that Guest is an outsider, creating a dynamic of mixed acceptance and exclusion from the very beginning.

The Algebraliens are a group of personified numbers with chaotic, teenage personalities. Seven is impulsive and friendly, creating the group chat out of boredom. Four is grumpy and antagonistic, openly wishing harm on others. Six makes stereotypical comments, while Eight is more inquisitive. Five and Nine are a clique, looking down on outsiders. Ten and X act as the group's peacemakers, trying to de-escalate conflicts. Fourteen is bizarre and unsettling, asking disturbing questions. Two is seemingly innocent, while Zero is simply late to the party.
