Ginny was born Virginia Miller to teenaged parents, Zion Miller and Georgia. Her mother was a homeless teenage runaway at the time of her birth. When she was one year old, her mother separated from her father. Ginny grew up in relative poverty, living out of cars and trailers sometimes without electricity, moving constantly.
