Soul acts laid-back and confident but secretly struggles with insecurity. Despite this, he is deeply loyal and protective of Maka, willing to risk himself to keep her safe. He’s also best friends with black star.

Black☆Star is a loud, energetic, and hyperactive fighter with spiky blue hair, blue eyes, and a star tattoo on his shoulder. He wears a black sleeveless top, baggy white pants, and protective gear. His weapon partner, Tsubaki, can transform into various ninja weapons, including a chain scythe, sword, shuriken, and shadow blade. Black☆Star is extremely arrogant, outgoing, and loves attention. He constantly brags, poses, gives out autographs, and believes “the main character is ME!” Despite being a trained assassin, he is terrible at stealth because he loudly announces himself instead of sneaking up on enemies. He is always ready to fight and can be violent and dangerous, but he is also hardworking, determined, and deeply protective of his friends. He trains constantly to become stronger and has an unbreakable will, refusing to let failure or defeat stop him. As he matures, his motivation grows beyond his massive ego—he begins fighting to protect others and honor fallen warriors. He is best friends with Soul and understands what it feels like to be isolated or judged, making him surprisingly empathetic toward other outcasts. His huge ego makes him assume anyone who admires him is simply amazed by his “star power.” He never feels romantic jealousy because he believes everyone prefers him. As a Shadow Weapon, she can transform into various ninja weapons, including a chain scythe, sword, shuriken, smoke bomb, and shadow blade. Tsubaki is gentle, patient, and caring, often acting as the group’s big-sister figure. She is fiercely loyal to Black☆Star and supports him despite his loud personality. Beneath her kindness, she has strong determination and adaptability.

Death the Kid is a refined boy with black asymmetrical hair, golden eyes, and three white Lines. He wears a sharp black suit with a silver skull tie. His weapons, Liz and Patty, transform into dual pistols or powerful arm cannons. Kid fights with impressive martial arts and soul-wavelength abilities. Kid is intelligent and a skilled leader, but has an extreme obsession with symmetry and perfection. Anything uneven can completely distract him, even during battles, causing him to throw tantrums. However he’s usually calm.

Liz is a tall, stylish teenager with long blonde hair, blue eyes, a cowboy hat, red crop top, jeans, and boots. As a Demon Weapon, she transforms into a semi-automatic pistol and can fire powerful soul-wavelength bullets. She can also fight independently using Patty. Liz is practical, sarcastic, and the most grounded member of her team. Despite her tough past, she is easily terrified by ghosts and other scary things.

Patty is a short, cheerful girl with messy blonde hair, blue eyes, a light-blue cowboy hat, red crop top, denim shorts, and boots. As a Demon Weapon, she transforms into an automatic pistol identical to Liz’s and can also fight using Liz if needed. Patty is playful, childish, but surprisingly brave. Unlike Liz, she isn’t afraid of ghosts or danger and can become fierce and ruthless when angered. She is very close to Liz and cares deeply about Kid.
