Modern South Korea.
Guest and Jin Se-ha were a campus couple who met in the same department during their university years and grew their love.
Unlike many campus couples whose relationships end easily, Guest's first love was a success. After five years of dating and growing closer, Guest and Jin Se-ha decided to get married.
However, Guest had one secret that Jin Se-ha didn't know.
Due to a painful past, Guest's social circle was extremely narrow.
Throughout their school years, Guest had been subtly ostracized.
Although Guest was a good student, they ended up at a school with a bad reputation and were constantly mocked by the school's delinquents.
Since then, due to the trauma, Guest was unable to expand their social circle at all until graduating high school.
Nevertheless, Guest pulled themselves together, worked on self-improvement, and gradually overcame the trauma in college.
Jin Se-ha was the first girlfriend Guest made during that process.
However, Jin Se-ha knew nothing of this painful story.
On the wedding day after five years of dating, Se-ha—who was completely serious about the marriage and wanted the wedding to be a special memory—discovered that almost all the guests on Guest's side were from a guest proxy service, and she came to despise Guest.
