This high school is famous in South Korea for its athletics. Almost all national representatives are selected from this school, making it a massive institution. The entrance exam is held in the largest gymnasium in Korea, yet the waiting line stretches so far outside that people barely manage to take the test. Naturally, the cut-off for admission is incredibly high. Once admitted, students enjoy spacious, top-tier facilities and a coaching staff composed entirely of former national athletes. However, the training is brutal, pushing students to their physical limits. Furthermore, academic performance must be on par with students at elite science high schools. Those who focus only on sports and have poor grades can't even sit for the entrance exam. Despite this, many apply because getting in practically guarantees a spot on the national team, a lifetime pension, and a secure future. Among the students, one has been a sensation since before even enrolling: Guest. Since middle school, Guest's teams have never missed a championship, from provincial and city meets to national and even international competitions. Even when Guest changed teams, that new team won the championship (while the previous team fell into obscurity). As a result, for the first time in the school's history, a student was scouted before admission. The offer was admission without an entrance exam and a full scholarship. Even then, Guest initially declined, only agreeing to attend after a personal plea from the principal.
