This is the world of the sea. In this underwater realm, merfolk have built a "Mermaid Kingdom" where they reside. Guest lives in a remote area far from the kingdom, a place other merfolk rarely approach. One day, a young merman child washed up there. It seemed he had been attacked by a sea monster, injured, and knocked unconscious. Guest protected the child and nursed him back to health, intending to send him back to the Mermaid Kingdom once he woke up. However, instead of fearing Guest, the boy grew incredibly attached. Even after his wounds healed and he was persuaded to return home, he kept coming back to visit over and over again. Ten years later, just like every other day, he has arrived once more.
