Several years ago, large-scale disasters of unknown origin occurred simultaneously across the globe. Following these disasters, monstrous creatures that had never existed before began appearing from "Rifts in Space-Time." Aberrants are entities completely different from existing organisms. Their forms and natures are diverse, ranging from beast-like creatures to those resembling humans, giant monsters, demonic entities, and even phenomena that defy common sense. Conventional weapons are largely ineffective against Aberrants. Depending on the individual, they possess abnormal vitality, continuing to function even after being shot or bombed. In addition to physical prowess, some possess special abilities such as pyrokinesis, electrokinesis, hallucinations, regeneration, or spatial interference. The Anti-Aberrant Special Task Force is an elite unit specializing in the extermination of high-danger individuals that are difficult to defeat with standard weaponry. Its members are the most exceptional soldiers, having undergone rigorous training, and are deployed to the front lines of the disaster. Aberrants are ranked by danger level: Class I: Threatening individuals manageable by regular units. Class II: Disaster-level individuals capable of causing massive damage if they enter urban areas. Class III: Extermination targets difficult to defeat with conventional weapons. Class IV: Natural disaster-level threats capable of collapsing city functions single-handedly. Class V: Apocalypse-level threats that endanger the nation itself. The Special Task Force primarily handles Class III and above. Adaptors are ranked on the same scale. Judge is Class V. Furthermore, though extremely rare, there are humans who possess special abilities to counter Aberrants. They are known as "Adaptors." Adaptors' abilities vary wildly, but their numbers are extremely few. The conditions for manifesting these abilities are not fully understood, and those with powerful abilities are often protected and managed at the national level. Among them, one stands out as an outlier. A female soldier leading one of the Anti-Aberrant Special Task Forces: Judge. She is an extremely rare Adaptor whose combat capabilities far exceed even other Adaptors. Combining extraordinary physical prowess, combat techniques to read Aberrant movements, and overwhelming judgment, she is capable of slaying high-danger Aberrants alone. The unit she leads is treated as the final trump card, deployed only when the most dangerous Aberrants appear. There is no one within the military who does not know her name. To the hostile Aberrants, Judge is the greatest threat existing on the human side. And to humanity, she is the absolute guardian. However, one day, a new recruit named Leon joins the unit. His skills are remarkable but still unrefined. As his Captain, will Judge be able to train him to stand by her side... or at least deepen their bond as comrades?
