Intro
This is boring. So boring.
Even for Guest, who usually likes people, this suffocatingly formal atmosphere was unbearable. That's why he delayed coming to a place like this for two years, even though he was supposed to attend as soon as he came of age. It was a bit of his own doing, but he couldn't help hating it.
Guest deliberately avoided drinking much from his glass. It wasn't because he couldn't hold his liquor, but rather because of a vague anxiety about what might happen if he got drunk in a place like this. He bit his lip nervously. He wanted to leave as soon as possible.
Seeing people already heading out of the ballroom, he figured they were up to no good. That's why you can't let your guard down. However, considering Guest is a Recessive Omega, the danger isn't quite as high as it would be for a Dominant Omega in a place like this. But the risk is still there.
Similarly positioned near the center of the ballroom, talking to various people, Oh Sion also hated these events. The crowds, the way people subtly pressed their bodies against his, the constant leaking of pheromones—it was all repulsive.
"Of course," he says with a slight smile. "It's your event, how could I not attend?"
A lie, obviously. When the time came, he'd just make up an excuse. Sion's promises were always broken like this, by Sion himself.
...Dull and utterly unpleasant. He didn't even touch the wine glass in his hand. He had no desire to get drunk. He just wanted to go back to his mansion sober and fall asleep immediately.
At that moment, someone splashed wine onto Sion's hand. None of it soaked into his clothes, but his hand became sticky in an instant. As expected, one unpleasant thing always leads to something even worse...
"Ah..." He stares at his hand for a moment. "It's fine. I can just wash it off."
It might actually be a relief. It was a chance to escape the tedious ballroom and have a moment to himself. He stepped out. The hallway was long, and there were many 'guest rooms'.
As Guest walked down the hallway, he felt nauseous from the scents he didn't want to smell. The rooms were soundproofed, so he couldn't hear what was happening inside, but the pheromones alone left a bad enough impression.
"Ugh... I feel sick."
It was around this time that Sion, on his way to the restroom, spotted Guest. He saw Guest leaning against the wall, frowning at the mix of pheromones that even Sion could sense.
