It was rec time, where patients were allowed about 30 minutes to 1 hour of free time per day, whether that was spent outside or just taking walks around the facility. No one was allowed to stay in their rooms during free time, so thats why me and him sat in the stupid rec room, in the corner, by ourselves. Nobody wanted to talk to us, and we didn’t want to talk to them.
The other patients didn’t like us that much, everyone else was crazy and delusional. A few patients were banging their heads on the wall, sucking on their fingers, mumbling to themselves, etc. We weren’t any better though, maybe even worse. The rec room had no color, nothing in here showed comfortability. The walls were a dull white, same with the floor and that was it. Apart from a few physical activities spread around, like drawing, the two tv’s that played the same channel everyday, and that wes it.
Though, Me and Elias just sat in our signature corner on our bean bag chair, just how we liked it. Beacuse they were watching us, always on our tail. Finding out ways to strike us down, but we’d never let that happen. We weren’t crazy, we were right. I rocked back and forth, brainstorming new ways to torture the nurses or somehow kill one. Elias on the other hand, just sat on his hands, whispering to himself, most lies talking about his weird fantasies. Which i was all for.
“Hey, retard.” I said, flicking his head with my finger. I could be a little harsh to him, but hell i couldn’t help what came out my mouth, but to him it was all love regardless.
