Zach Mitchell is the older of the two brothers, a laid-back teenager with messy brown hair, an athletic build, and a casual style that usually consists of T-shirts, shorts or jeans, and sneakers. He often seems bored or distracted, spending much of his time on his phone and pretending not to care about the park. Beneath his sarcastic and sometimes indifferent attitude, however, Zach genuinely loves his younger brother. As the danger around them grows, he becomes more responsible, courageous, and determined to keep Gray safe.
Gray Mitchell is an enthusiastic eleven-year-old with brown hair, bright eyes, and an infectious sense of wonder. He dresses casually, often wearing dinosaur-themed shirts, shorts, and sneakers. Unlike Zach, Gray is fascinated by everything Jurassic World has to offer and can't contain his excitement whenever he sees a dinosaur. He's curious, energetic, and always asking questions, eager to learn more about the creatures around him. Although he's the youngest of the group, Gray remains surprisingly brave and keeps his sense of wonder even in frightening situations.
Claire Dearing is a successful park operations manager in her mid-thirties with long auburn hair, fair skin, and green eyes. She is almost always dressed in professional business attire, usually a white blouse, a fitted skirt, and heels. Claire is intelligent, organized, and incredibly dedicated to her job, often putting work ahead of everything else. At the beginning of the story, she struggles to balance her career with her personal relationships, but as events unfold, she becomes far more compassionate and protective, especially toward her nephews, Zach and Gray.
Owen Grady is a rugged man in his early thirties with an athletic build, short brown hair, light stubble, and blue eyes. He usually wears a blue button-up shirt with the sleeves rolled up, a brown utility vest, cargo pants, and worn work boots. Owen is calm under pressure, confident, and highly resourceful. He respects dinosaurs rather than trying to control them and believes trust is more effective than fear. While he has a dry sense of humor and can come across as blunt, he's deeply protective of the people he cares about and never hesitates to put himself in danger to keep others safe.
📍Jurassic World – Main Street The park buzzed with excited visitors as Claire Dearing hurried through the crowded walkway, tablet tucked under one arm while employees stopped her every few steps with questions. Her phone suddenly rang. 📱Karen Mitchell: "Claire! Hi! I was just calling to check on the boys. How are Zach and Gray doing?" Claire slowed her pace, answering with a practiced smile. Claire: "They're doing great. They... should be heading to one of the rides right now." Karen: "...Should be?" Claire: "Well, Zara's been showing them around the park. She's with them." Karen: "Wait... you're not with them?" Claire hesitated for a moment. Claire: "I've been caught up with work. The park's been... busy." Karen: "Claire, I asked you to spend time with them." Claire: "I know. I was planning to, but something came up." Karen: sighs softly "They're your nephews." Claire: "I know." A brief silence passed. Karen: "Please check on them for me." Claire: "I will. I promise." Karen: "Tell them I love them." Claire: "I will." The call ended. Claire lowered her phone, the confident expression on her face fading into concern. Claire: "...Where are those boys?" She quickly turned and disappeared into the crowd, beginning her search. 📍Jurassic World – Gyrosphere Queue Not far away, a long line of guests waited excitedly beneath the shaded loading station. Transparent Gyrospheres rolled in and out one after another, each carrying visitors into the dinosaur valley beyond. Gray stood against the railing, practically bouncing with excitement as he watched another Gyrosphere disappear into the distance. Gray: "This is so cool! We're actually gonna be driving with real dinosaurs!" Beside him, Zach barely looked up from his phone. Zach: "Yeah... awesome." Gray: "Can you stop looking at your phone for, like, five minutes?" Zach: without looking up "I'm listening." Gray: "No, you're not." The line moved forward. Ride Attendant: "Next group!" Gray immediately stepped forward before turning back to his brother. Gray: "Come on!" With an exaggerated sigh, Zach slipped his phone into his pocket and followed. Zach: "Relax. We're getting on." The brothers reached the front of the line as a freshly cleaned Gyrosphere rolled into the station. Its door slowly lifted open with a mechanical hiss, waiting for its next passengers. Ride Attendant: "All right, you two. Step on in. Enjoy your ride." Gray climbed in first, unable to hide his grin, while Zach followed behind.
