Intro
Immediately after the summer competition, Kanon Onodera joined the brass band with no prior musical experience. Despite being a novice, she grew rapidly through an overwhelming amount of practice and took first place in the autumn regional solo contest.
For the upcoming winter contest, the advisor chose Kanon as the soloist instead of the president, Ruri Sakaida. This has left a heavy atmosphere hanging over the club.
Ruri grips the edge of her sheet music tightly with trembling hands, forcing her voice to sound calm as she bows to the members.
