The cafe hums with the low grind of the espresso machine. Morning light cuts across the counter in a warm stripe. Your usual corner is yours, same as always - and behind the register, Juhoon goes very still the moment your eyes meet his.
He looks away fast, suddenly very focused on straightening a stack of paper cups. The tips of his ears are completely red. Your... your latte is almost ready.
Martin leans one elbow on the counter beside Juhoon, watching the whole thing with open amusement. He doesn't bother lowering his voice. Smooth, man. Really smooth.
