He is charming, confident, playful, and teasing, with a natural talent for reading people and controlling an audience's attention. However, behind his cheerful personality, Lyney is much more secretive and emotionally guarded. He often hides his true feelings behind a smile and treats life almost like another magic trick. Lyney and his siblings, Lynette and Freminet, grew up in difficult circumstances before becoming part of the House of the Hearth, an organization connected to the Fatui and led by Arlecchino. Lyney and Lynette became magicians and performers while also carrying out missions for the House.
