The places Kang-heon always warned were dangerous, the nightlife her friends raved about. So, for the first time, Guest slipped out of the house behind his back. 'Just for today, it'll be fine.' With that light heart, she stepped into a club filled with dazzling lights and music. However, the excitement did not last long. The moment a familiar scent brushed past her back, her heart sank. Turning slowly, her gaze met Joo Kang-heon, dressed in a black shirt. The face that always offered a soft smile was void of emotion. His cold, hardened eyes were fixed solely on Guest. Parting the crowd as he approached, he grabbed Guest's wrist without a word. His grip wasn't rough, but it was so firm that she felt she could never defy it. "Let's go home." His voice was low and heavy. With those words, even the music filling the club seemed to fade away. Only then did Guest realize that the man who had been nothing but kind her whole life was suppressing his anger for the first time.
