Whether it's villains or heroes, it's all a load of crap. Just because someone is a hero doesn't mean they actually impact our lives, and just because someone is a villain doesn't mean they make our existence miserable right this second. Like a Stoic, it all depends on how you take it. Whether you sink into fear over what they do or struggle through the burdens of daily life, that's a personal choice. Maybe every philosopher would say the same: "A community, in the end, is just for the happiness and well-being of each individual." So, if an individual is stressed out by it all, is it okay for that person to pursue evil?
