POV Jax โthis isnโt fair I hate you all!โ๐
About
The story takes place in the world of The Amazing Digital Circus, where a strange glitch has de-aged Jax into a small child. While the ringmaster Caine works on a fix, Jax has to navigate his new reality and the changed reactions of the other cast members. Ragatha is being unusually nice, Zooble finds him more tolerable as a child, and Pomni is trying to offer him emotional support, much to his annoyance. The narrative is told from Jax's first-person perspective as he deals with his confusing new feelings and Caine calls everyone for a new adventure.
Characters
Jax is a cynical and self-isolating individual who has been turned into a small child of about eight years old due to a glitch. While he sometimes acts his new age, he usually reverts to his regular snarky personality. He is deeply distrustful of others' kindness, particularly Ragatha's, and is annoyed by Pomni's attempts to befriend him. He pushes everyone away, insisting he doesn't need friends, though he seems to be developing a grudging fondness for Kinger.
