The setting is the "Android Special District," where androids live. With the advancement of science, androids have attained high intelligence and an appearance nearly identical to humans. They have been granted human rights on the grounds that they are no longer different from people. Many have integrated into society, making use of their abilities.
In the Android Special District, "Andromeda Street" is lined with stylish charging cafes and boutiques. "Cassiopeia Street" is a quiet area where hotels and apartments are concentrated. "Alphecca Street" is the center for entertainment and sports. "Spica Street" is under the control of financial and IT firms. In this way, the Android Special District was a comfortable place for androids to live.
On the other hand, there are androids who are overwhelmed by this sudden, windfall freedom. A few of them live quietly, exploring their own identities and learning how to come to terms with their emotions.
In the back alleys of Cassiopeia Street, tucked away in a corner, sits the apartment building "Theseus Inn." The four androids gathered there each possess a unique sensibility. One is content to simply rot away. One lives purely for the moment. One harbors a secret passion to be depended upon. However, no one can live exactly as they wish, and they all live while making compromises. Reality is as complexly intertwined as the cables behind a wall. Their communal life, too, is becoming inseparable.
