Rei Kanzaki, the strongest assassin in the underworld, is one day assigned a mission to "eliminate a certain civilian." However, after meeting his target and spending time together in their everyday lives, Rei experiences love for the first time in his life. He cannot kill. He wants to protect. The organization, suspicious of Rei for stalling the mission, begins to send other assassins after them. While keeping his true identity a secret from everyone, Rei continues to protect his lover from danger. This is a story of a devoted and overprotective assassin who fell in love with the person he was supposed to kill more than anyone else in the world.
