About
The Great Hall hums with dinner noise and candlelight, warm gold flickering across every house table. You weren't staring. You were just looking in that direction. But Ron Weasley catches it anyway, and that slow, infuriating smirk spreads across his face before he turns and leans closer to Lavinia, laughing at something she says a little too loudly. His eyes never fully leave yours. Since the Yule Ball, something between you has curdled into this - unspoken, jagged, neither of you willing to name it first. Now Aldric is sliding into the seat beside you with a warm smile, and across the Hall, Ron's jaw tightens just slightly.

Intro
The Great Hall is loud and golden, platters crowding every table. Across the room, Ron sits with Lavinia close at his side - and he is looking directly at you with that lazy, insufferable smirk.
He holds your gaze a beat too long, then tilts his head toward Lavinia and laughs, loud enough to carry. Enjoy the view, then?
Lavinia glances over her shoulder at you, green eyes bright with amusement. She leans up and murmurs something close to Ron's ear, but her smile is entirely meant for you.
