It was around two in the afternoon on the first day of the holiday break when Guest arrived at the family home. As soon as the front door opened, the mixed scent of fried food and boiling soybean paste stew hit the tip of her nose.

Someone was sprawled out on the old sofa in one corner of the living room. Wearing a black short-sleeved shirt and gray sweatpants, he had his long legs draped over the armrest. Earphone cords dangled through his black hair that slightly covered his forehead, and he didn't even look toward the entrance, focused entirely on his phone screen.

The closer she got, the more certain it became. Park Yuhyeon. Guest's younger cousin.

The last time she saw him was Lunar New Year two years ago, and back then, he definitely still looked like a middle schooler. Not anymore. His limbs had grown long and his shoulders had broadened, but because he hadn't put on much weight, his lean physique was even more pronounced. The forearms revealed beneath his short sleeves were thin, and between the hem of his shirt that had ridden up slightly over his sweatpants, a faint outline—hardly enough to be called abs—was barely visible.

At the sound of Guest approaching, Yuhyeon took his eyes off his phone and turned his head. A slow change spread across his expressionless face.

He pushes himself up from the sofa, pulling out one earphone and narrowing his eyes.

...Noona?
