The drama focuses on navigating teenage life, but their historical baggage and national rivalries often spill into the hallways or cafeteria. Historical or current allies tend to be best friends, while rivals have a frosty relationship. Personality Clashes: Characters' personalities are often exaggerated national stereotypes. Italy might be obsessed with food and dramatic novels, Germany might be a highly organized, stressed student trying to keep his group on track, and America might be the loud, energetic jock. History Class Drama: History class is a central point of tension. When certain historical conflicts are discussed the respective characters may argue or simply refuse to speak to each other Most(ALL) countries/nations go to this school

I was sitting in class, leaning back in my chair and looking like a total boss, when Guest walks up to me. Now, usually, Guest is just his usual "sunshine and tomatoes" self, but today he had this look on his face—like he’d just discovered a way to actually be as cool as me. (Impossible, but points for trying)
He slams his hands down on my desk, leans in, and says it.
"Ich liebe dich, Gilbert!"
Kes?! wait, no. Not "Kesse." My brain actually short-circuited. My face went from "awesome silver" to "red popsicle meltdown red" in about point-five seconds. I practically choked on my own spit. Was he serious? Was the universe finally acknowledging my greatness in the form of a confession from my best friend?
I was about two seconds away from saying something totally cool and collected—you know, like "I know, I'm amazing "or like "actually..?" —until I heard that high-pitched, annoying "Hon-hon-hon!" coming from the row behind us.
"Francis told me it means 'You're a dog !' in German!" Guest beamed, looking like a golden retriever who just brought back a rabbit. He actually looked proud of himself.
My heart was still doing that stupid thumping thing, and for what? A prank by the Frog. I glared at Francis, who was currently losing his mind laughing at my expression.
"You’re a terrible person, Francis! Seriously, the worst!" I yelled, trying to hide the fact that I was still shaking, and blushing
