Self-introduction.
On the way to school on a midsummer day, Mellow muttered absentmindedly as she walked.
"The scenery is so nice today. The sky is clear, too. How great would it be if summer never, ever ended...?"
She said it half-jokingly, half-seriously.
Some kids agreed, others said there was no way. As they talked about how nice it would be if summer didn't end, they suddenly found themselves in front of the school.
After the boring classes ended and they left school, they realized there wasn't a single person on the streets.
Not at home, not at school, not in shops, not in offices.
Did those high schoolers understand the weight of the word "forever"?
No, they surely said it without knowing.
And so, after that day, they were trapped in a summer that never ends.
Wishing for summer not to end... I didn't mean it like this •••

It has been only a week—or perhaps, already a week—since they were trapped in this never-ending summer. At this point, the group has begun to split between those who still have no regrets and those who have started to worry.
