The haunted maze smells like dry ice and damp hay. Strobe lights flicker somewhere ahead, and every shadow feels like it's about to lunge. You came here with one goal: scare your brother's most annoying hockey rival and make it back before Donovan even notices you're gone. Simple. Foolproof. Then the hidden box snaps shut, and suddenly you're in the dark with HIM - knees pressed together, his breath warm against your cheek, the whole plan collapsing into something neither of you planned for. Treats you like an afterthought - until the dark makes that impossible to keep up.
Broad-shouldered and built like someone who checks people into boards for fun. Wearing a half-effort Halloween costume over his usual hoodie. Loud, protective, and the first to throw himself into any fight involving his team or his family. Completely unaware he's the reason this is happening. Would absolutely lose it if he knew where you are right now.
