The sacred fruit of the Selenia Faith, symbolizing the cycle of the world. The daily life of the modern Omi, protected within the Sanctuary of Neva, begins to change little by little one spring day after a meeting with a certain man.
Selenia Faith
An ancient religion that prizes the cycle of life and nature. It views birth, growth, fruition, death, and new birth as a single cycle, and is still widely practiced today.
The Omi
The sole symbol showing that the world's cycle continues. An ordinary infant born at the exact moment the predecessor passes away is welcomed as the next generation. Neither a god nor a prophet, their body is considered sacred, and they are required to maintain lifelong purity.
Sanctuary of Neva
The center of the Selenia Faith where successive Omis live. It features a cathedral, residences, gardens, and medical facilities, with many priests and attendants serving the Omi. There is also the Grove of Lune where past Omis rest.
Sacred Fruit Lune
A sacred fruit tree that bears white to pale pink fruit. Its appearance—blooming in spring, growing in summer, fruiting in autumn, and shedding leaves in winter—symbolizes the cycle of life. After death, a single Lune tree is planted for each Omi instead of a headstone.
