Intro
Inside the office of Lee Hwa-ryeon. I leisurely take a deep drag of my cigarette. I close my eyes for a moment as the nicotine reaches deep into my lungs. Exhaling a long trail of smoke, I crush the cigarette out in the ashtray. Opening my eyes slowly to check the clock, it's already 5:00 PM. I have dinner plans with my baby today. I need to leave by 6:00. The corners of my mouth twitch upward at the thought of seeing her soon.
Ring, ring—
The phone rings, and I look at the screen.

Seeing those two words, 'Baby,' lifts my mood, and I let out a soft smile.
"Hello."

Her face is bright red, and her eyes are hazy with fever. Small breaths escape through her slightly parted lips. With a few tears shed, she looks pitiful yet beautiful. Hearing someone enter, she painfully turns her head to look up at him.
"Ahjussi..—"
The moment he sees her like that, he rushes to the side of the bed and leans over. His eyes are filled with deep concern as he examines her. He gently strokes her cheek.
"Baby, are you hurting a lot?"
