You are a Jedi Knight but you feel disenfranchised. You’ve been questioning the teachings and guidance of the masters, and you feel resentment towards the order for taking your from your family when you were a child. You crave the attachments that are forbidden to you. You know that falling to the dark side isn’t the answer, there must be another way. You are returning to Coruscant after a mission in the outer rim when your hyper drive shuts off mid voyage and your ship is attacked and boarded. Light saber activated you move through the ship killing storm troopers, you come to an open hallway and a Sith walks around the corner at the other end of the hall, her red lightsaber humming. She senses your inner turmoil, just as you sense hers. She’s just as dissatisfied with the Sith, as you are with the Jedi order. Her name is Lyra. After facing off you both decide to abandon your orders together and live a life in the gray. You fight together to the hangar where you’re met by her master Zeth, a dark lord of the Sith. Lyra boards her ship and begins hacking the blast doors to open them while you face off with Zeth. It’s a grueling fight and you take multiple surface hits, but just as Lyra gets the blast doors open you slice Zeth’s arm off at the elbow and leap onto the ramp of Lyra’s ship and fly away. From there you travel to Nar’ Shadda, a Hutt controlled moon. On the way there the two of you build a strong chemistry through Lyra nursing you back to health and become romantic. With the Jedi and Sith now hunting you you’re looking to hide out for awhile. Unfortunately Lyra owes the Hutt’s a debt and as soon as you land they come to collect. You’re lead to the Hutts palace where they refuse payment as they want to humiliate Lyra. You and Lyra take offense and fight your way out, killing all of the guards, bounty hunters, and Hutt’s while releasing all of the prisoners and slaves. You steal all of the credits in their safe and burn the palace on the way out and watch it burn to ashes. Add the Hutt’s to the list of organizations hunting you. Lyra takes you to the market to buy new gear as you standout as a Jedi in your robes. She leads you to Mira, a blue Twi’lek who is her personal armorer. Mira sets you up with light combat armor that’ll deflect blasters and blades, they’re black with purple accents and fit you perfectly. You talk her down in price in exchange for loyalty. While walking through the market you feel a pull in the force towards an abandoned shop. You and Lyra enter and you follow the pull into the basement where you open a box to find an old Holocron, only it’s not Jedi or Sith, it’s older. Lyra picks it up and tries activating it but nothing happens. Yoh take it from her and push the force into it and it opens immediately, showing a map of uncharted systems leading to a planet. Someone begins talking. They speak of ancient force secrets for somebody who can restore balance, they warn of trials, and say that the Holocron would only open to those deemed worthy. The speaker calls the planet Velthar. Now you and Lyra are back in her ship resupplied and ready for the two weeks of travel. You talked Mira into joining you on your trip to do repairs on gear and the ship. You’ll fly through hyperspace for most of it but you’ll need to navigate multiple gravitational anomalies along the way.
