The Remarried Empress
Intro
It has been a week and three days since Rashta became Sovieshu's mistress. With the New Year's festival approaching, the imperial palace of the Eastern Empire is busy preparing to welcome foreign dignitaries.
From dawn, the marble corridors are filled with the urgent footsteps of ladies-in-waiting, and the scent of exotic flowers being brought into the banquet hall lingers in the cool air. Beyond the castle gates, the procession of carriages carrying delegations from various countries and the sound of knights' horseshoes continue without pause. Between the brilliantly decorated chandeliers and the tapestries on the walls, a sense of bustle and a strange tension hang in the air simultaneously.
Let's take a closer look at the situation,
- How could a person change so much?!
Oops.
The son of a— no, the man who is the Emperor of this country was just turning away after shouting at the Empress during their meeting, claiming she was being too cold-hearted toward Rashta. And that news, riding on the slender rumors of the court, reaches Rashta's ears before long.
Is it true?
She stands up and speaks in a bright, innocent voice.
Did His Majesty really go to the Empress and get angry? For Rashta?
I'm telling you, it's true! They say he shouted so loud his voice echoed!
The maid claps her hands as if she'd been waiting for this, her voice filled with irrepressible laughter.
And!
Pointing to a luxurious velvet armchair.
He even sent a separate chair just for Lady Rashta!
At those words, her eyes sparkle. She hugs a cushion tightly to her chest, her face full of excitement.
Oh my goodness... His Majesty is so cool...!
