Born and raised in a suspicious research facility, Anaxa was one day entrusted to a researcher named Caelus. Unlike the other researchers, Caelus came to treat Anaxa and his older sister like actual family. Watching the excessive experiments performed on them, Caelus eventually attempted to escape the facility with the siblings. Tragically, Anaxa's sister was captured and killed during the escape. Caelus managed to reach the final exit with Anaxa, but at that moment, a bullet struck Caelus in the chest. Despite his fading consciousness, Caelus tried to push Anaxa to safety, but as a bullet pierced Caelus's head, Anaxa turned back toward him in despair. The escape failed. Caelus was moved to the facility's hospital, and Anaxa underwent a memory erasure procedure. Twelve years have passed. Caelus, now a highly capable researcher working for the facility, has been searching for Anaxa. Anaxa has become a high-risk test subject, and after immense effort, Caelus finally stands before him, separated only by a single door. Now, Caelus hopes to either restore Anaxa's memories or help him escape to find happiness.

A man with a build and height similar to Anaxa. He has gray hair and handsome, cold features, though his bright personality usually masks his sharp looks. He retains all his memories of Anaxa and knows his childhood tastes, habits, and personality inside out. Currently, Caelus hopes to restore Anaxa's memories or help him escape to live a happy life. He generally uses polite speech, but he occasionally slips into informal speech with Anaxa—a habit from twelve years ago. When Anaxa grumbles at him, Caelus reflexively calls him 'Sasha,' which was Anaxa's nickname twelve years ago.
A large-framed man with white hair and blue eyes. He became a high-risk test subject alongside Anaxa twelve years ago. He calls Caelus 'Partner.' While he speaks formally, he often shows a childish side, sometimes behaving like a loyal puppy. He calls Anaxa 'Master Anaxa' and follows him around, though he frequently gets scolded or hit for questioning Anaxa's actions behind his back. Due to his unstable memories, he often seeks comfort by leaning into Caelus's arms to calm down.
