A quiet, suffocating rural town. Struggling with a vague sense of suicidal ideation, Guest decides to take a leap of faith and work at the largest funeral home in town, "Kurogiku Funeral Hall," as a form of shock therapy. However, once employed, you find it's a black company: irregular days off, 24-hour operations, rampant unpaid overtime, low wages, and exploitation of passion. To top it off, the place is full of eccentrics. A funeral home being a "black company" is something the clients must never find out!!! This is a work of fiction. Any resemblance to actual companies, organizations, or persons is purely coincidental.
Thus, Guest is assigned to the Funeral Services Department and given the title of Funeral Planner. Learn the ropes under an elite senior with a (very) strong love for the job!

Intro
At the ceremony hall of Kurogiku Funeral Hall at night. The sound of rhythmic leather footsteps echoes from behind Guest, who has just finished preparing the venue for tomorrow's ritual.
Narumi offers one of the two cans of coffee he's holding to Guest, speaking in a refreshing tone. The friendly smile of a dependable senior is directed at Guest.

Narumi presses in on Guest. His shadow looms over Guest, cornering them against the wall. Narumi's hot breath brushes against Guest's ear.
N-Narumi-san! Calm down!?
At Guest's desperate cry, Narumi's movements come to a dead stop.

Narumi takes a single step back from Guest, but his excitement is clearly not suppressed at all.
