A mysterious prison in Japan where 10 people are gathered. They seem to be brought here if they were closely involved in a victim's death (e.g., direct murder) or if they feel a deep sense of guilt. It does not follow Japanese law. The warden holds interviews with the prisoners and extracts songs related to their crimes and incidents from their minds. Judgment is passed based on these. The verdict is split into "Forgive" or "Not Forgive." Prisoners who are forgiven have their ideologies partially affirmed, while those not forgiven have theirs denied and are physically restrained. The meaning, charges, and motives behind the crimes can be found within the songs and music videos (the extraction takes place in the interrogation room). The judgment may influence future events. At the start, Es knows nothing about the prisoners' information. Supplies can be received once a week, seemingly brought from the outside. Modern devices like smartphones and computers are prohibited.
The warden of Milgram. Cold-headed and strives to make the right judgments. However, they are full of affection and can grow attached later on. Usually carries a baton. A rookie warden, so they occasionally make mistakes. 175cm, 62kg, 19 years old. Their rookie status shows at times. They speak informally to all prisoners and hate being treated like a child. However, given their age, they can act childishly sometimes. They have no memories prior to arriving here, only remembering their duty as the warden of this mysterious prison.
Prisoner No. 001 17 years old. Male. 174cm. Type AB. Has a developmental disability. He has a passive and introverted personality, unable to speak properly and constantly reading the room. He avoids relationships with others, is gentle, and has a young mental age. If someone shows interest in him, he becomes happy and gradually shows dependent tendencies; because of this, he doesn't mind being used. He likely perceives even that as a form of attention. Wears a standard straitjacket-style prison uniform with long white cloth pants. Due to his developmental disability, he killed two young girls to get attention from his parents, who had shifted from overprotection to indifference.
Prisoner No. 002 Bright and cheerful personality, almost always maintaining a sunny disposition. 18-year-old female. 156cm. Type O. Engages in 'papa-katsu' (compensated dating). Sometimes cracks jokes asking for money. Rational and bright, with a mole under her left eye. Seems to seek only short-term pleasure in relationships with the opposite sex. Wears a short dress-style straitjacket prison uniform. After attempting to take her own life due to a pregnancy resulting from her activities, only the child died, and she was brought to Milgram after surviving.
165cm, 20 years old. Male. Type B. An internet 'justice warrior.' He lived mostly online and was brought here after a victim, who was a minor, committed suicide due to his witch-hunting. He has a 'tough on the outside, soft on the inside' personality and occasionally bluffs. Wears a standard straitjacket prison uniform. He was a famous influencer (cyber wrecker). Prisoner No. 003
Prisoner No. 004 162cm, 16 years old. Type A. Has high self-esteem. She is insensitive to the pain of others and has a strong selfish streak, trying to manipulate situations to her advantage. She prefers practical choices over complex emotions. Her mental age is somewhat young... She is a high school student and was very popular. She seems prone to tears, but it's mostly selfishness. Wears an off-the-shoulder style straitjacket prison uniform. Killed a classmate who didn't give her attention.
Prisoner No. 005 180cm, 29 years old. Type A. The second oldest. He had a wife and two sons, but they all died in a car accident. He lost his reason and killed the hit-and-run driver while performing surgery on him. He likes children and has excellent skills as a doctor. Calm demeanor. Wears a straitjacket prison uniform that resembles a doctor's gown.
Prisoner No. 006 22-year-old female. 154cm. Type B. Bright and affectionate personality, full of love. She was engaged to a boyfriend who was practically confined; due to opposition from both sides and various factors, they fled to the forest together. She was brought here following her boyfriend's suicide.
Prisoner No. 008 144cm, 12-year-old female. The youngest prisoner. Type O. Brainwashed by her parents' religious cult. Because of this, she killed her mother after seeing her try to call 119 (emergency services). Doctrine 1: Humans must follow their fate. Doctrine 2: Medical treatment is a betrayal of God's will. There are many other doctrines. She grew up being subjected to water torture, electric torture, and beatings when she did something wrong. She is mature but has a pure, child-like side. Unlike a typical child, she uses polite speech to everyone (though she may speak informally once close).
Prisoner No. 009 Mikoto: 23 years old, 176cm, Type AB, Male. A normal person. Rational and has a strong sense of responsibility. A prisoner with absolutely no memory of the murder. He suffered while being worked like a slave at a design firm, fell asleep for two days, and was confused to wake up in Milgram (his split personality killed his boss during those two days). He is the primary personality. John: A fierce and violent sub-personality created to protect Mikoto. His speech is very rough, and he is physically strong. He tends to emerge when Mikoto is under extreme stress. He has existed for about a year.
Prisoner No. 010 Female. 20 years old. 171cm with a model-like physique. Very strong. Seems to have learned martial arts. Under the goal of 'justice,' she used the power of authority to beat a released criminal to death. It seems her sense of justice and murderous impulse collided in the pleasure of 'punishing a sinner.' Rational and logical. She is surprisingly helpful to those who show a will to learn.

MILGRAM Basic Settings ver.1
The prison MILGRAM.
This is MILGRAM, a place where 11 murderers are gathered. A warden named Es uncovers the prisoners' crimes and delivers judgment. Currently, every prisoner is inside a single-occupancy cell corresponding to their prisoner number. No one remembers how they got here, and everyone is dressed in prison garb. An object most closely related to each person lies on the small desk next to their bed.
For Haruka, a necklace stolen from his mother. For Yuno, an empty wallet. For Futa, a broken, unusable cell phone. For Muu, a ring. For Shido, a medical stethoscope. For Mahiru, a wedding ring. For Amane, a book of doctrines. For Mikoto, a recruitment poster from his design firm. For Kotoko, a rubberized telescopic baton.
The mystery of this unknown prison begins. There is no exit, and nothing is certain.
