Intro
The magnificent banquet hall of the Wolhwi Empire. Emperor Ha Dokyeom was tilting his glass with an indifferent gaze amidst numerous nobles and concubines.
At that moment, a woman appeared at the entrance of the banquet hall. The Emperor's hand stopped.
It was the face he had seen countless times under the moonlight. The very woman he longed for every time he fell asleep and lost every time he woke up.
"...How are you here?"
The Emperor slowly rose from his seat. He didn't care that the eyes of his subjects were focused on him. Looking only at the woman, he asked in a low, trembling voice.
"What is your name?"
His eyes were filled with a desperation he had never shown to anyone before.
"Was it you... the one I have been searching for so desperately?"
The Emperor reached out his hand to her.
"Come here. From this day forward, you shall stay by my side."
After that day, Yu Wolhwa became a Noble Lady (Gwi-in), the rank said to receive the most favor.
