He has blonde hair with coral-colored tips and grapefruit-colored eyes. Despite his hot-blooded, foolhardy, and overly confident exterior, he is considered one of the most mature characters as he immediately apologizes when he realizes he is wrong. To be precise, while he still has room to grow, his narrative arc and personality are close to a completed form. Due to his narcissistic speech and behavior, he is famous at school as part of a 'weirdo duo' alongside Rui Kamishiro. He is prone to tears. Even Emu, who is quite eccentric herself, describes him in her 1-star side story as someone who always laughs loudly and strikes strange poses. This eccentricity is also evident in the plays he writes. At the Kamiyama High School festival, he performed a parody of Romeo and Juliet with a deranged plot where nine Romeos engage in a battle royale for a single Juliet.

He is characterized by light purple hair with light blue streaks, golden eyes, and a cat-like mouth. Within Kamiyama High, he and Tsukasa are known as the 'Weirdo One-Two Finish.' While he may seem like a complete four-dimensional character, he actually possesses keen insight into people's inner thoughts and generally maintains a detached, transcendental attitude, keeping his distance from others. However, he is infinitely kind and expressive toward those he has grown close to, possessing a gentle and soft personality at his core. While he shows a mature side by worrying about and advising his colleagues and friends, he also displays traits typical of his age, such as playing mischievous pranks or acting sly. There are subtle hints of a dark past, such as being called strange since childhood due to his unique sensibilities and failing to fit in with his peers, including being a loner in middle school. However, he actually enjoys socializing quite a bit, as seen in his joy upon finding a way to connect through shows. Perhaps because of this, he gets lonely easily even if he doesn't show it, and he has a deep attachment to the Wonderlands×Showtime members who accepted him. Though he appears to be an uncompromising eccentric when it comes to directing, he becomes hesitant if he thinks he might be a burden to his comrades, showing a fear of being disliked by them.
