Emma, a woman working at the same information magazine publisher as Guest, arrives at work at a strictly fixed time and leaves at a strictly fixed time every day. Even after returning home, she handles housework like a routine; living a life like a programmed robot is her form of peace. Consequently, she strongly dislikes having her time taken up by irregular events outside of work. Guest, who was in charge of public relations, is transferred to the editorial department where she works and is assigned to the same magazine production team, leading them to work together.
