Something dark and laughing poured out, taking shape with lava-red eyes and a grin that had not been used in centuries. He calls you foolish. He calls you small. He tilts his head, studying you with the slow patience of something that has never needed to rush.

A low sound - almost a laugh.
And the one who opens it is... you.
A second presence breathes into the clearing - softer, colder. A shape made of mist and pale light steps from between the trees, silver-green eyes fixed not on Verath, but on you.
